Runway and parallel taxiway extensions, as well as apron expansions, are made primarily based on aircraft demand. Our firm has designed these infrastructure improvements for aircraft ranging from 12,500-pound single wheel to 90,000-pound dual-wheel loadings, and for runways having visual, nonprecision, and precision instrument approaches, and for aircraft classifications between A-I and C-II. To date, our longest runway extension project included an 1,800-foot extension at the Navasota Municipal Airport. This project also involved implementation of a new full-length parallel taxiway.
